Blue Titles {a mini series}

My Top 25 Favorites

As I sit here looking through my albums and listening to Styx, I thought why not incorporate this into a post. Ok, this will not fit into one post so I am going to break it down into a series on “Songs with Blue in the Title”.

– Styx – Blue Collar Man

Released as the first single from their eighth studio album, Pieces of Eight (1978)… I figured I might as well start here since this is where the idea came from. I have always ranked this band in the top 10 for live performance’s I’ve seen.

– ELO – Mr. Blue Sky

“Out of the Blue” ELO’s seventh album was released in {1977}. ELO woke us up with the incredible light show they brought along with their sound. I must be truthful and confess side three of this great album gets played the most. *You can find more on ELO in my post “The Big Night”

– Foreigner – Blue Morning, Blue Day

“Double Vision” Foreigner’s 2nd album had this gem as the third single. Released in {US}1978 {UK}1979 reaching #15 on the Hot 100 and #45 in the U.K. When Foreigner became big where I was they became a staple in my collection of vinyl.

So here we have it, Part 1 of 8 post listing my favorite 25 with blue in the title. Trying to keep these short and sweet giving a small thought on each. Thanx for reading and listening. Please share your thoughts about this list or the songs within and enjoy.
