Another Saturday Morning

The World’s Still Spinning?

Maybe or maybe not, I haven’t decided yet as this is another Saturday morning and coffee isn’t even brewing yet. So first things first, to get the Starbucks cooking!

Let’s Roll With It

Looked out to see the sun trying to peek on the eastern horizon and thought “Won’t be long now before these cold days disappear and I can have the windows open to let fresh air in. Ahh the rites of Spring. “Springing into this cup of coffee is what I’m talking about!”

Speaking of “roll with it” would it be to much to ask for a wake and bake Saturday morning? Questions abound as the mind awakes to enjoy this day. There’s something about listening to the percolator telling me to “get some” that just feels right.

And since this is the week-end, what better way to wake and bake than with some Sunday Driver and Starbucks? To hell with the doughnuts! Fresh roasted beans, yummy!

What’s Next You Ask

I guess I’ll start by checking my sugar levels…{228} a little higher than the top 160 I strive to stay under. I know it was the Coca-Cola late last night that got me. I can usually keep my sugar in check but sometimes them ol’ sweet tooth blues bark an ugly tune in me brain and woo-la high levels.

With that done, a good “to do” next solution probably would be something like this…

I bought some new vinyl and it arrived yesterday so onto the spinner it goes and I will share a video so you can see what I am hearing,{there’s a poem in there somewhere}, anyway back to the vinyl. The album is called “Who ya selling for” by The Pretty Reckless” a band my oldest son “Derek” turned me on to a few years back. Give it a listen here.

If I’m not mistaken {and I could be} this is the first album from this band and they were still finding their sound as it may be but this is still a great listen. And as the volume climbs, I’m waking up people!

2nd Pot!

Sunday Driver/Starbuck’s breakfast-what a bargain! The second round has me entering the fast lane and picking up energy faster than an electric car at a free station, ha-ha. The neighbor’s are about to find out I am awake as after I finish this I’m going to blast the music and deep clean the space I call home. “Damn that coffee’s good!”

As I See It

So to re-cap the start of my Saturday:

Starbucks fresh ground and Sunday Driver make a good starting combo, better than McD’s could do {and cheaper if you live in Cali} And while enjoying this twin blend I am listening to the new vinyl I added to my collection {pics soon}.

A plan has established itself in me brain on how to spend this Saturday morning and after careful debate let me tell you this…Yeppers the world spins on my friends, enjoy the day the Lord has given us and…
