Twice as Nice

“So here’s to talking to dad once again and trying to understand any answers or guidance he provides in this uncertain world.”

That is the last sentence I had on the previous post “Talking with Dad” I had no more than finished that post and published it when Derek, my oldest son calls and shares good news on a job he was trying to get {HE DID!} and soon Dylan my next son joins in on the conversation. It’s been a minute since Dylan and me have talked so I jokingly gave him shit for not calling but truth be told {it’s a two way street boy, I Love Ya} This call lasted well over a hour, what a great treat!

Flip the Phone

After the call ended I reflected on the coincidence of how at one point in my journey I was the young pup talking to the old dawg on the porch and now it’s reversed. I brought all this up just to say what a treat it is to be able to reflect on all things good or better.
