Sunday Shots: Reflections with Mounjaro, Coffee, and Music

Sundays always starts the same. Giving myself a shot of Mounjaro. Then a shot of coffee and then inject some music into the mix and it’s almost time to shoot my thoughts into this post.

Ok two out of three down and music on the way, Maybe some “Freeway Jam” as Jeff Beck is shooting through my mind.

Nope is Dope

Nope to Jeff Beck as after I start digging into the vast vinyl venue that presents itself, I find that I could get stuck in that Freeway Jam and come to a complete stop of thought and that just wouldn’t do. So I find that Mick tells a different view of moving forward.

Ten years ago would have found me starting Sunday with Bloody Marys as the religious thing to do and I called it “Bloody Sunday Mornings”. But reflecting on this could have me going in reverse and I’d rather save that position for the cowgirls.

And Soon After

As I cheated today and went with Sirius XM instead of vinyl and this being Sunday should I confess? A serious Sunday tradition many people shout out vigorously that could affect the outcome of not only today but the shot of redemption I eagerly await.

Either way I believe deep down inside I’m safe on this subject as even the most devout Christian knows Jesus said to celebrate with song.

A Repeating Phrase

“Go back” seems to be referred to in every song I hear this morning or going “back to re-read this post for mistakes and inspiration”. WTF? this post is supposed to be a reflection of different shots like Basketballs’ three pointer varies with each one taken.

Lost Direction or Damn the GPS!

With my third cup of java I find myself stuck in neutral and no more shots of silliness forthcoming. I am lost on the highway of confusion so I’ll sign off with this little gem I found at AARP.
