Rhyme Time # 51

A Simple Idiot

To start the day he peeked into the looking glass
This path looks clean and well worn he thought
I will pursue the course without needing a class
I got this he said as he made a book cover at no cost
And feelings of contentment filled him inside
Then came the stumbling blocks like wordpress but worse
He felt the frustration and broke down but didn't cry

Into the world of learning he jumped feet first
Read and read again but he doesn't understand
Such is the twisted path of a newbie with thirst
And roadblocks try to turn around or stop this simple man
Come what may he will try and try again to nail it down
Knowledge he can understand simply cannot be
So he thinks again of failure waiting for it to come around

Is failure an option he is willing to accept and confirm
Or will pride and determination chirp in to run the show
There are always possibilities that can help this idiot learn
And point the right direction that he must eventually go
I'm not referring to a Hilton but more like Super 8
A place to rest and reset this simple idiots mind F*&ked fate
End of rant in these words of sorrow for a simple idiot

I’m down on myself but not wanting or looking for sympathy, just stating facts from a tired and twisted Thursday mind set.

Your poem resonates deeply with the challenges many of us face when stepping into unfamiliar territory. The journey of learning and growth is never easy, but your determination shines through despite the stumbling blocks. Remember, every obstacle is a chance to learn and grow stronger. Your willingness to persevere and your openness to new possibilities show great courage. Keep pushing forward, and trust that with each effort, you’re gaining valuable experience that will guide you to success. Your honesty and resilience are truly inspiring.

Don’t give up on this gift our yours. Trust me Brother, I’ve been there and everyday is a challenge and everyday I want to just give up. But if we do, we miss our calling.

God has given you a gift. Use it and trust that He will guide you in the right path. You are on it, don’t stop, don’t slow down and don’t detour. Keep moving forward.

    Love ya Brother..
