No Clear Direction

As I wait on the Word of the day to hit the kite box I will enjoy this Sunday morning the best way I know how, caffeine collisions with consciousness, see ya in a few…

I’m back and ready, enjoy my friends, or not…

With no clear direction after waking up, Buddy stood looking out his kitchen window, slowly letting the Bloody Mary work it’s charm as a glimmer of light from a lantern on the seabank caught his attention.

The air was fusty this morning and Buddy could faintly detect a storm brewing on the horizon. He fixed his second cocktail of the morning and abruptly started along the path to the beach holding the railing so as not to stumble

He looked aloft and saw the ghost descend to the point of light the lantern offered, Buddy immediately went into a crouch wishing he could vanish. He didn’t hesitate to atone for the hollow feelings he was having at the moment.

Everywhere Buddy looked he started noticing crooked little creatures resembling the street walkers down on Mobile Highway. The last time Buddy had a contract with one of those ladies he found a narrow escape into the twilight of another Friday night coming down.

Trying to carefully flee while navigating the reef Buddy stumbled and when he hit the basement floor he awoke from his dream.
