The limousine arrived promptly at 7:45 on that Wednesday evening. Betty was excited to be invited to the art gala at the new center in downtown. It was to be the grand opening and the news channels would all be eager to get photos of her as she had become a recluse in her later years.

As Roger, her long time assistant opened the door she stepped inside the limousine, finding it to be very plush. Betty was quiet for a long time reminiscing over the past. She was from Lowell Massachusetts, and after a time her family moved to NYC. In her young adult life she headed west to Hollywood and the star struck fame every young woman would blush over in the quiet moments before sleep claimed the mind.

As they walked on the red carpet into the art center, Betty was amazed at how the art was so Trompe-l’œil. The way it tricked her into seeing dimensions was amazing to her frolicking eyes. After a night of fun and merriment, Betty went back to her reclusive life.”

Ernie Dawg laid his pen down, finding the article of fiction he was working on to be flush. He re-filled his Starbucks mug with fantastic French Roast and fumbled with what to write about in his next post.
