I Got Nothing / Short and No Point

1–2 minutes

Saturday morning thoughts in altered realities of illusion

When awaking on a Saturday morning there are rituals that we all perceive as ordinary things we do without consciously thinking of them. Some of us brew coffee first thing while others grab a bottle of suds.

Younger adults will be up and hurrying about trying to chase dreams that are mostly elusive and staying just out of reach. Children will no doubt wait on Capt. Crunch and the new cartoons to be on the tube of “stupidity” Others still are winding down from Friday night’s excursions and will sleep the day away.

I myself usually start the day with a pot or two of coffee and a “wake and bake” to get motivated. Not the case today however as my mind wants to remain crisp and clear for whatever this day brings. I’m still not sure where I am going with this but on a chilled rainy day I do know outside is not where I’m heading.

Ok, The Screen Wins Again

What do I know about children these days? Not much but as I drink this coffee I can imagine that kids are looking at the phone screens instead of a t.v. and “hell, let’s be honest, so are you!” while I sit here in front of my pc writing this stuff. The screen wins again!

As spring takes it time to present itself to us, all I can hope for is a desire to listen to good music, this blog to survive and prosper and love to abound all over the world.

I am out of ideas and coffee so I will wrap this nonsense up and bid you all a blessed Saturday my friends. Thanx for reading this and if you can make any sense out of it please let me know. I guess I’ll wake and bake after all.

  1. In today’s society it’s sad that we spend so much time on the screen versus enjoying life. Life was great when you could only be use the phone while at home. So many of best my memories prior to cell phones and computers. Watching mom sit at the table looking at her notebook where she tracked bills. She’s sit there with envelopes and a checkbook, and that notebook and pay all of her bills. There was no paying bills in those days over cell phone. No real use of credit cards. Today’s society is full of debt. With the inflation, raising no family can afford to live off of one income so moms have to work, all moms. with mom‘s out of the home cell phones became a necessity so that they can continue to contract their children since they can’t track them their selves and know where they’re at while they’re at work. Lifestyle is about convenience nowadays the convenience of scanning that credit card and getting whatever you want the convenience of picking up that phone wherever you are to talk to whoever you want. Take those conveniences back away give us back our lives and let us all enjoy one another. Well, I guess enough said here. I shall start my day with my wake and bake as well. The states who have legalized marijuana have brought a lot of relaxation, creativity, and enjoyment back into the lives of those people who suffer from diseases that can get help from the THC. Hopefully someday this will be federally legalized so all individuals can get the help they need from this amazing plant. have an amazing day and a happy Easter. As you spend your Easter day, please do remember the reason for this day. Thank you dear Lord, for everything you have given me and blessed me within my entire life. Love these blogs and look forward to reading them daily.

    1. Thanx for such a heart felt reply. Memories of a simpler time can be refreshing and as far as legalization goes Norml.com is and has always been a forefront runner in keeping us aware of changing laws. Yes, the Federal level has to be rewrote asap. Happy Easter and keep coming back
