Ease Into the Day

Start here

5:30 am drinking eight o’ clock coffee and starting my Saturday. Good morning! Rain storms are moving into the area this morning and the FM is providing free static across the airwaves.

This is stacking up to be a day of listening to vinyl and working on my book. I am not stopping to do the daily prompt today as last night I did one that was a repeat of three days prior. On to the next.

Which is What Exactly?

A second cup of coffee and a cigarette sounds about right. And I really can’t see a reason to be rushing anything this morning so like the turtle above I will slowly ease into the day.

This being a holiday week-end I have no plans as rain is expected off and on through Monday. I see naps in and out of the near future. and enough about the weather.

It’s Important to Them

I’m scanning through the “news” this morning before crawling over to this site and am amazed by how movie stars think their live are so important. Really? I don’t really care if Demi Moore thought about quitting acting or Why Alec Baldwin thinks he shouldn’t have to stand trial for a shooting. I want to hear news about why

“When the price of barrels of oil drop, the price at the pump jumps thirty cents the next day!”

It’s not good news but it is news. And by stopping to think “Duh” it’s a holiday week-end so “Bend over America while you think about the partying you are going to do were going to stick it to you” But wait, I was not intentionally making this post a rant so let me try and turn it around.

A Happy Place

I thought about a “Chilly Willy” clip but could only find ones on YouTube that are over an hour, to much. So maybe we can go down a different path.

I guess my happy place today is going to be working on my book. I have decided to plunge into the void of self publishing. I’m finding there is so much to consider in doing this, it’s a challenge but one I find exciting to plunge into.
