Let’s Start the Day

Already this morning I have took a journey through football, democracy, some greats songs and let’s not forget the red dragon. All of this amazing content on only 1 cup of coffee! So staying on this path I will start Dawg Whistles off with the not so obvious…Journey before Steve Perry

A journey on a different level. I have enjoyed this band in concert a few times and after the departure of Steve Perry I saw them in Orange Beach AL. with replacement singer Arnel Pineda in 2007. His voice and style fit nicely with the band. Now to reach into the closet for this next one.

Just because this is a damn fine song I haven’t heard in awhile. Chuck will always have a spot in my heart as his music was and is still uplifting for me to listen to. Do I have you confused yet, no you say. Maybe this will help.

A song that always sounds good to me. I never tire of listening to this bands sounds. And as it would be hard for me to pick one to follow this I will stop on three which is one of my favorite numbers to work with.

Unfinished Business

I had a problem with my plasma losing color in a 5″ bar across the screen so I purchased a new LCD wide screen and picked it up last Monday. Today I sit and wait on Thursday to arrive so a replacement will be delivered to replace the replacement that is less than a week old when it took the nosedive of new electronics and lo and behold produced a line similar to the old one.

Grateful

This list could probably make a whole post but just wanted to touch on a few points before I close this days journey.

I am grateful for having my healing process be a fast and pretty much painless experience compared to other ops I have encountered. I am grateful for the advice, passion, and posts I see on a daily basis here (not counting recurring prompts ) and for having my poems recognized on various sites. And so in closing another thing I am grateful for…
