Mind & Ink

I give thanks to the Lord high above
He has blessed me with an altered mind and ink
A desire of exploring the aspects of love
Mixed with the possibility of making you think

A road often travelled by many before me as well
Words of laughter and sadness mixed in the pot
With the hopes of serenity ringing your bell
And fantasy putting me on the spot

I write these words as they float across the sky
I pluck them out and ink them down
Words that take you on a journey without asking why
Leaving you wanting ...
