I love the Sound of Disco music
I listen to it most of the time
I practice my dancing in private
So when you see me, I’ll blow your mind

Disco Duck has nothing on me
I can dance swinging from the trees
And as that is not good enough
I dress way better than that dawg McGruff

So as I wait for the fever of Saturday Night
I'll keep practicing making my moves so tight
When I boogie down, the crowd will come alive
As I light up the floor with my shuffle and jive

I make a grand entrance when I ease onto the floor
The outfit I donned will have Elvis wishing for more
The DJ has the crowd ramped up with a fast moving tune
I start the electric boogie and soon I'll clear the room

The ladies dressed so fine are lining up to see
The fantastic dancer booging down, yes that'd be me
I won the last three contests with moves that were so cool
I'm Disco Gorilla and two left feet are my secret tool

I can spin and glide across the floor to the crowds delight
I really get them going when I start the Kung Fu fight
The night spins into a craze of tight moves and passion
Disco Gorilla once again steals the show with unique fashion

With the style and grace only a gorilla can truly manifest on this floor
I dance the night away trying the hustle, boogaloo, the bump and more
With vinyl spinning, I start to dance the robot to the cheer of the crowd
I have a cause for celebration and I plan on it getting real damn loud

Another night of intense boogie, I became the star of the Disco Kings
For a seasoned gorilla like me this seemed like a simple natural thing
And the duck, he has a song named in his honor as a 45 rpm
But when it comes to dancing, I'll get the movie rights way before him
 
As the night winds downs the crowd thins, who's left is amazed
I close out the killer gorilla moves by dancing to the Y.M.C.A.
This little diddy came about from a joke with a friend
Which leads me to post on his NTT once again
