Here We Go Again

Good day Sunshine

Another beautiful sunrise this morning gave me no time for reflection as I was pondering a post about dreams. I don’t remember them or can’t, I don’t know which and in the rare case I think upon waking that there is one on the horizon of thought it quickly disappears.

So maybe I am wrong in stating I don’t remember them, are they remaining in my sub-consciousness and presenting themselves in my writing process and poems?

You got the thought process going into the unknown realms with this Laura and uh-oh, this might get deep. So I will ponder some more on this and continue to watch future posts on it to help me understand.

On to the Next

I collaborated with Kevin on a post over the last week and as always, his pictures unleashed yet another wild ride through the unlimited mind of curiosity found in the dawg house. His artwork is top shelf and easily compliments any words accompanying them.

With that said, I remind everyone that his NTT pics come out today and I’m sure that as always he will leave us with hard choices on which one (or 3 or 6 or 9) to try and match to words. Good luck to all, I look forward as always to reading the great answers.

When writing my posts, most of the time (always) I write my posts and then make the pictures to fit in with the story which is much easier than to come up with a story fitting the pictures but I still find the challenge to be exciting and eagerly await Thursday to see what lies in store over at The Beginning at Last.

The Near Future

With all of the stars hiding now except for that really big one close to us it is time to decide what this day will bring forth for me. House cleaning is high on the list of things needing done and low on the pecking order of must do’s. I shouldn’t complain about this as it doesn’t require much energy or time to get done. I stay on top of it but still…can you really stay on top of anything all of the time?.

Paying bills is also high on the pecking order of things that need to be put into the rearview mirror today so peaceful insanity can be achieved.

Enough of a ramble today so in closing might I say, Rock this thursday in the best way possible for you and may sunshine fill your heart today.

This song has been stuck in my head since waking up so you get the pleasure or pain of hearing it too.

  1. Ernie :-) … The images are fantastic, but my absolute favorite is you cleaning house (LOLOLOL) !!! I’m aware of sleep apnea but have never equated it to a possible out-of-body-experience … You have blown my mind, and I will have to research this more! Overjoyed barks and tail wags to you <3 ~ Always

  3. You’ve got me thinking about dreams and the subconscious mind now. Maybe our dreams are influencing our creativity in ways we don’t even realize. And yay for collaborations! 🙌👏

I feel you on the dreams part. With the few hours of sleep I do get, I don’t have time to dream, and if I do, I can’t remember them. Aww heck I can’t remember what I was going to write on this post 😂. Nonetheless, another wonderful post and spot on pictures. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

Stay tuned, we will be heading to Funky Town tonight if all goes as planned.

Peace, Love and Rye Buttered Toast .

  5. Thanks so much for the mention, Ernie! Dreams are interesting, people are either into them or they aren’t, very nice to see you’re pondering. I do think they open a gateway to creativity. Oftentimes that’s where I receive a lot of my inspiration from 😊 your mentions too of astral travel or OBEs are also very interesting and something that’s always fascinated me, I’ll definitely be looking to include more of that as well in future posts 🙏

I do agree that Kevin has an amazing assortment of images this week, always tough to choose! You guys still did an awesome and humorous job on your collab with the images and poems! 👏 👏 😂

    1. Anytime I find something interesting I like to link to it so get used to that lol. The OBE’s have always been something that I believe happens and it kinda makes sense. Thanks for the compliment on the post, it was fun and I am looking to do more as I really like the challenge. Have a peaceful insane caffine kinda day my friend.

      1. It’s always appreciated! I have one coming up soon for “peaceful insanity” I believe 😂 we’ll see where it takes us, the prompts can do a bit of damage that way! Haha 😆

Why do you think you may be having OBEs? Is it the feeling you get upon awakening? Like is it a falling and snapping back into your body feeling? Of course, only if you feel comfortable sharing that. 😊

        1. Sometimes, more often than not I believe that when I/my spirit returns I wake up gasping for breath. At times an answer I have been struggling with becomes crystal clear. I know people say it’s the sleep apnea that makes me gasp but could it be that the spirit knows how long it has to return and maybe it is not the lack of breath but rather the ‘shock’ [don’t know if that’s the right word]of it returning to me? I prefer the latter thought on this. Yes sometimes but not all I find myself with a feeling of falling back into my body upon waking and gasping but can’t say that happens every time. And the sleep studies are not worth my time as I will not wear a mask like that and try to sleep. I’ve dealt with this since my early twenties so am used to it.
