Another entry to Kevin’s NTT

The princess dragon left the cave today, she had murder in her heart
She was on the hunt for the human that shook her world apart
An egg was silently stolen, it was removed while the dragon slept
And after the long bout of crying, the theft she refused to accept

All the golden trinkets, that were carelessly thrown around her cave
Meant nothing to her anymore, her baby she must now save
Flying close to the ground, hoping to catch the glimpse of a trail
Gliding effortlessly through the morning, sunlight bouncing off her scales

She had seen three small villages, circling around each one so slow
But nothing was to be seen to make her hot breath begin to glow
So she continues to soar the sky, searching all of Lodi Valley
To confront the thieving human and start the grand finale

The tale takes a twisted turn on the end of this poetic verse
The princess dragon that was searching was under an evil curse
And when truth is spoken and strangers come forth to rally
This is just a old time rumor, told around a campfire in Lodi Valley
