The only plants left alive are cacti after the final third world war
The human condition is far worse than it ever was before
POTUS Harris made the mistake of thinking no one could see
Since the internet was broken they couldn't watch their TV's

Chasing her dream she cared not what the people said or felt
Destruction of freedom was accomplished and under her belt
Tear down the border wall as well as the famous Liberty bell
Tell all those conservatives that they can rot in a flaming hell

Five useless remotes scattered across the bare floor of my home
The constant sound of humming from the government drones
A solemn lamp rests before a artistic print on an old piece of canvas
My happy home of Texas gone, now I reside in the flat lands of Kansas

That damn loud mouth Trump went and did it again
Turned this country around and handed us the win
The poverty level before his second run at an all time high
Now the spoiled democrats can only sit there and cry

I used to live below the countries low income standard
Always put down, cussed out and constantly slandered
My television broken and an old worn out chair left behind
Biden ruined our country before he lost his fricking mind

The old canvas painting that hung on the living room wall
Was a stark reminder of how we could again lose it all
Like the snow that was found on the black and white screen
These past elections didn't really mean a damned thing

Corner Coffee Shop

Place an order at the counter and then wait in line
The Barista will be along he is just taking his time
After work he will return to a sad life living alone
In a room full of dust he calls this his happy home

A cactus sits next to his only source of night light
He dreams of times when it will all be set right
His mind slowly drips like the painting on the wall
The hatred of the political mistrust explaining it all

A dawg sits alone sipping his magical bean brew
Writing this poem on his blog site to be read by you
No Barista's were harmed in the making of this post
It was just another version of a democratic roast
