Yet another entry to Kevin’s NTT

I caught this train as it was pulling out of the station
I'm going to ride it all the way across this great nation
The last stop on the left coast is a town called Seattle
By the time it arrives my mind should win this battle

All these towns that dot the landscape of our nation
Quickly pass by on the way to my final destination 
The rotten apple followed soon by the great lake Erie
Is releasing my strife and removing some of the worries

The hum of steel wheels sings a smooth melody of peace
As I watch the green Illinois landscape flow by with ease
It won't be long before this train crosses the great divide
And I'll be feeling another fun Rocky mountain high ride

In the dining car I was enjoying a fine meal of rib-eye steak
And watched as a pizza was delivered to a booth by mistake
A low variety of deep sounding grunts and rumbling refrains
My eyes saw Mayor G sitting there not being one to complain

That pizza was his and there is no mistaking his unhappy face
But as always our Favorite Mayor handled a bad thing with grace
The train moving west then entered a long tunnel for a dark ride
Leaving it we noticed the pizza was gone and he had a smile this wide

We passed through a rain forest winding around Mount Rainer
The train is slowing down and Seattle is becoming crystal clear
I step off the train and take a good look around this beautiful land
I see my next Queen, introduce myself and take hold of her hand
