Your challenge for the week

  • That was his idea not mine

So a new challenge has appeared to be answered. This is my first try on Missy’s challenge and is a little different than what I am used to doing so I’m game to try it I think. First, let me start by saying I like the image she designed for this prompt, very cute. This was her idea, not mine.

Okay, okay I get it. I need to make this about a guy and that “This and her” didn’t cut it.

Let me try again if you please.

Once upon a time in a world made up of ink and thought there lived a hermit named Roscoe. Roscoe was a stubborn lad who would cause mischief amongst the community in real time bringing on frustrations and rants galore. Roscoe dreamed of the day he could make thousands of people listen to him and bend their words to his will.

One day he stumbled upon a job that was made specifically for him and he knew he had to land this job or forever be doomed to complete boredom in life. He applied and lied on the application and smoothed talked his way inside the wonderful world of WordPress where they placed him in the mailroom to start his new career.

Years down the road Roscoe had been given the chance to improve on his job classification and vigorously studied for the new raise and title. Soon afterward Roscoe was promoted to assistant chief editor and placed in charge of making daily prompts.

He quickly understood this position could and would afford to make his dream come true and so began the game of repeating the daily prompt every three or four days.

At the board meeting Roscoe was handed a big fat raise and when asked why the editor in chief replied “That was his idea not mine”.
