There’s a Place Ya all

Daily writing prompt
What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why?

With this prompt, I am adding three others to combine them all in my warped mind today. Following are the links, then the answers.

Esther Chilton – What comes to mind when you think of the word โ€˜greenโ€™? You can write a poem, personal piece, short story or whatever comes to mind.

Pensitivity 101 – Three Things Challenge Your three words today are:
ASTER
MASTER
PLASTER

Word of the Day:

Harbinger – hรคrbษ™njษ™r

Noun

A person or thing that announces or signals the approach of another.
A forerunner of something.

Germanic, mid-16th century

In the spring, a great forest becomes green and creatures big and small eagerly run around gathering the Aster plant to bring back to their homes and cook down, providing amusement and health benefits for all to enjoy.

After three days of intense work gathering enough Aster plants for the feast the animals all crowd around the leader of the forest, a gentle creature who is the master of the recipe. She has the blue wings of a fairy and only speaks in a gentle and relaxing voice.

On Easter Sunday the big event is always held in the center of the forest where a large natural clearing allows for all the forest creatures to congregate. While the birds sing songs of joy, everyone in the forest gets plastered from the mixture the beautiful brewer has provided.

For the last three years I have been the Harbinger for this event. I never want to visit this forest again and this is why, I never get to enjoy any of the Aster festival activities. I guess I’ll go over to the Rind County Watermelon Festival this year.
