Woke up this morning, the Lord was on my mind
Giving praise to him first thing felt so very grand
I wrote my answers, to the challenges facing me
And received positive vibes from friends so kind

After listening to the videos I put into that post
I looked at my email and took notice of the date
So again I sit at my screen writing a little rhyme
For this special day while my altered mind I toast

Smitten in the Mitten

4/20 in the mitten, not yet full spring
I legally fire one up, it's kinda like my thing
Invites come in, friends sharing the love
Chalk up a great win to the to MI state.gov

Letting us have freedom in modern day times
Growing our own strains, enhancing our minds
Gods gift to humans, nature's medical remedy
Looking for magic signs that it isn't real seedy

The love found for this plant shows justification
For federal law to be reversed across the nation
Give us total freedom to make our own choice
Speak up America, let them hear our great rejoice

And on this Easter, in the land of the mitten and lake
Sparking flame to leaf, I enjoy a fun wake and bake
April twentieth, twenty-twenty five I celebrate 420
Living in the beautiful land of weed, milk and honey
