This is a double birthday shout-out today to two of my favorite pack members.

Happy Birthday this weekend to Derek, my oldest “Love ya Man” and Siri over at Beyond Sirius Sea. May you both be blessed with joy this weekend.

Thirty-five years ago sunshine covered my heart
Tears of joy from my eyes as my first son was born
A new tier of consciousness swept over my soul
The best chapter of life beginning to brightly unfold 

A puppy to comfort, a new dawg sniffing the horizon
The first of my litter, the first of what is now three
To this day he brings out the best I can ever become
This is a shout-out to my Auggie, Happy Birthday son

You sat on a bar in diapers, as my pack lapped up the beer
You dominated the club brothers with your happy attitude
Riding in a squad car, stating you were just a hungry dawg
Memories for me to cherish, memories to share on my blog

As you have grown, my blog has done the same
We look a lot alike, our minds into the same tune
So let me introduce you son, to a lady from the sea
A very special ghostwriter to others as well as too me

Her images spectacular, words shared are so divine
Birthday's one day apart,  a weekend celebration of fun
The attitude of a goddess, compassion fills her heart
Happy Birthday Siri, You stand at the top of the chart

From an old dawg, sitting on the edge of the porch with love
I wish the two of you happiness, fun filling your weekends
From the foam of a beer to the foam of a beautiful sea
This howling message sent to you on the breeze, from me
