Respond to this challenge by either using the prompt word river, or going with the above picture, or by means of the song ‘Hungry Heart’,

The daughter of Oceanus, A goddess names Styx, stood at the mouth of the river talking to her ex boyfriend Charon. As he charged for transportation across the river to Hades, he kept quite busy elucidating the process for the payment of souls.

Her son Kratos was standing off to the side intently listening to them but searching the depts of the water to find the elusive emerald said to be found in the poisonous river. An emerald, with a carat size the size of Atlas’s big toe nail could fetch a handsome price on the open market.

Zelos, Kratos’s brother was standing in the shadows waiting to pounce if Kratos found the gem, wanting to shaft his brother of his hopes and dreams. The rivalry between these brothers was thicker than molasses. Once Kratos had spotted the elusive emerald he had to craft a way to get it out of the poisonous waters.

After a couple of minutes Kratos came up with a possible solution, He would find his brother Nike and see if he would ask Achille to reach into the waters for him. As Achille had been dipped into the river by his mother Thetis, a sea nymph, he was  invulnerable to it’s poision except for his heel.
