Soothing Souls

Dawg days of summer finally have arrived
Warming these ol' bones keeping me alive
Minor inconveniences popping round the bend
I work them out just to do it all over again

Writing books are a challenge that I love to do
Bringing forth poems to be read by some of you
Selling products puts pressure on this altered mind
But there are no cause for worries, I am doing fine

The speedbumps of life are usually tried and true
Just keep on pushing, eventually you will get through
Stumbling in pitfalls make you start to understand
Helping each other in life is such a simple plan

Like the prompts I gather, combining them into one
Each one is special but mixing them is so much fun
These wonderful people that share stories to let us see
Are a start for us all to find our own peaceful insanity
