” I’ve never picked cotton” is a song I listened to growing up. What’s it have to do with this post? absolutely everything, as it was a job I’ve never had but a good song. I would see a foxy girl/woman and send my brother over with a proxy for her to meet me on the dance floor. I would curvet my way to the center of the floor and twirl her around until she was happily engaged. As the night wore on the dance floor would get a little boxy so we usually made it out to the parking lot where we would “not pick cotton”
