Conurbation - หŒkรคnษ™rหˆbฤSHษ™n โˆš
Noun - An extended urban area, typically consisting of several towns merging with the suburbs of one or more cities.
Word Origin - Latin, early 20th century

One day in 1898, a stout group of politicians got together and decided that a conurbation of all five boroughs of New York should become one with the creation of modern day New York City, swallowing up any small towns in the way. This eventually brought new business to town, among them Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, and Simon & Schuster.

Seventy-five years later in a city six hundred and forty-five miles to the east I was lying in a hammock reading The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe, a intense non-fiction read. Although the book was five years old it opened my eyes to new horizons of knowledge.. Soon after, I came across another book I found fascinating called “Fools Die” by Mario Puzo. You might recognize the author as he wrote “The Godfather”. This book had an everlasting imprint on my mind leaving me wanting to see the lights of Las Vegas and live the excitement I read about.

Finally the book I read that left the most impact on my life was and is read over and over. I learned who I was and what life’s choices could bring to me by absorbing the knowledge inside of it. “The Holy Bible”.
