Ink Stained Love is the first book I have read by Ernest Federspiel, and now I know it won’t be the last. While engaging myself into Ernie’s poetic voice, I felt my heartbeat pulse with joy, but I also felt it shatter. His emotions evoked my own memories of past love that wasn’t meant to be, and of the love I share now with my husband of almost thirty-seven years.
