I’m just rambling in this post.

One year and four months. That is the amount of time it took me to get the ‘Dawghouse’ site finished and make myself content. I’m very ecstatic with the results and will be leaving it alone, I know…heard that shit before huh?

In that amount of time I’ve taught myself quite a few things like moving around in WordPress and what I can and can’t accomplish. At the same time I dove into Canva to help design this site as well as write two poetry books. Both sites are well worth what I pay for them to keep me distracted in retirement.

I should put an image of my books here and hawk em’, but not today. A while back I had to find something to do as I had quit changing this site and making images got a little old, so I switched it up a bit and started chasing an idea of combining prompts and man is that fun as well as challenging. I enjoyed it so much I made myself a badge to use as a sign off, Shortly later, our friend Sarah over @ Not All Who Wander Are Lost showed me the proper way to do this and so I made another badge in gold in her honor.. Here they are.

The blue one is for mixing three together and the gold is for doing 4 or more. Anyone who does this is more than happy to use these as a badge on your post or site, just copy & paste em’.

In a recent post I had said that I was burning out on doing this and so the altered mind spit out another twisted thought for me to ponder. “okay dawg, that sounds like a barking damn good idea” I say to myself and once again I’m off to Canva to have fun. I can’t say what it is that I’m working on as it is not completely set in stone yet but the foundation has been poured and formed, so here is the tease I put on my side bar

I implemented a small change to my site stating it is now a ‘division of Peaceful Insanity Press‘. I sell my books here so had a file a DBA form and am thinking this is all a deduction or write off. I’ll find out next year right?

Jamming to ‘The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway’ a great album and adds to this perfect day as it’s 81 ° F out with a gentle breeze and baby blue sky. I’ve been bouncing in and out all day but not going anywhere, unless you can call crazy a destination 🤣
