After visiting Indiana and seeing all the state flowers out down there I thought it was time to refresh my site. If you aren’t aware of Indiana’s state flower it is the orange cone. You can find them along any major interstate.

I enjoyed the beautiful ritual of roasted beans and writing my Starpup post today, after that I decided to get a few things done before playing on here. I ran over to the county courthouse and filed my DBA and now Peaceful Threads will replace Peaceful Insanity as my book imprint and business name. Go Dawg!!!

This is the header of a new site being developed here on WordPress. I am trying to start a printing business for shirts, hats and more. I don’t plan on having it ready to open until late spring, early summer and it will be a small endeavor during startup. A soft opening will be announced in the future.

I will have my trademark at the first of the year and until then will use the copywrite while continuing the building of stock and learning the process of transfers. I am stoked about trying this and figure if I fail I will have boo-coo shirts to wear. 😁

Under Peaceful Insanity Press I was able to have two books published in the first year. I am not sure how indie authors judge success but with “Ink Stained Love” I am more than pleased with the total sales so far and the reviews I’ve gotten have all been top shelf. I had planned on bringing out hardback copies with a dozen more poems as a bonus with the hardbacks but I’ve put those on hold for now.

Looking back I see I rushed the publication of “Silent Screams” This book has stalled big time as I only received one review of it and after the first section it wasn’t read any further. I had sent out seven copies so I am guessing nobody liked it but all is good as I wrote the poems for me in the first place. I want to send a BIG thank you to Maggie Watson for letting me pick her brain on ideas leading up to Peaceful Threads, you rock Maggie!!! She also has a few books on her shelf and they are more than worth reading when you have the time.

Okay, as for The Dawghouse. As you are aware, I can’t seem to let the dawghouse sit and have been remodeling it since it came online in 24′. It has seen many transformations and I was really happy with it up until last night when I had to remove the Peaceful Insanity imprint. It looks good to me now but not great so minor construction will be found here for a hot minute or cold month, depending on how I like the looks.

I couldn’t decide on which song I wanted to use today so I leave you with two of my favs.
