This is a really tough prompt today, over the years many have been at the top of this list.

I can’t list just one as my all time favorite album. So how do I answer this?

Ronco and K-Tel used to sell albums that had many of the years greatest hits on them but most of the time they missed on the good songs and just had the top airwave hits so that won’t do.

Then there’s the genre, I have favorites in many different categories such as progressive rock, Southern Rock, jazz, blues, etc…

I can pick out any album in my 500+ collection and say it is a favorite but how can I say it’s my all time favorite? Break it down by the band? How about the mood I’m in at the time, I have favorites for certain occasions that are always a go to and make me feel good. I have favorites for when I’m blue too.

So to pick one for this prompts answer I will have to go with three as always.
