Today finds me waiting on the night game to see Alabama play and changing the daily prompt.
We are home tonight for this game against Tennessee that will be exciting as usual . More exciting than this week has been for me. My muse has been avoiding me for the most part and I wrestled with a bout of depression brought on by who the hell knows what.
But rant I will not do in here because this is a gameday post and superstition prevents me from jinxing today by starting off on the wrong foot. I did pour me a strong dose of wake up and am enjoying the feeling of the caffeine as it starts to work it’s wonder on me. Roll Starbucks Roll!
Since this is a Roll Tide post maybe I’ll try to wake up the altered minds muse and see what rolls in.

In Indiana, basketball was always on the mind
IU couldn't ever seem to cross the football goal line
The fighting Irish put on some really good shows
But the SEC ruled the game as everybody knows
I traded in the clover for a mascot called Big Al
Coach Shula quickly brought down all of my morale
Faith had me believing that it would turn around
Especially when we played in that cow pattie town
The Auburn rival game between two in state teams
Is the end of the season where we hurt their dreams
Over the years I learned the call of Roll Tide Roll
Move those chains and let's score one more goal
Coach DeBoer took a tough job following the G.O.A.T.
Hostile fans with no faith acting like bad cutthroats
We missed the play-offs but look where we're at today
Rolling through the SEC to the play-offs we're on the way
