I love the warmth that spring brings us with the renewal of life and warm temps letting us shed the extra layers of clothing that winter requires. With that said I must talk about the dreaded blues of winter. I detest the changing of the seasons when the beauty of fall is replaced with the piercing cold air and black ice that forms on the roads.
I freeze my tush off each year as I rant and rave over the Crimson Tides rankings in college football and anticipate the play-offs finishing in January hoping for one more chance to win a National Championship Title.
Why is this important or even relevant to this post? Well, to provide an answer to the daily prompt and the other challenges, I tend to wander into nonsense but try to bring it round full circle to my answer. This shouldn’t be outré to my fellow bloggers and followers as it is pretty common at the dawghouse.
So, my favorite month of the year is February. Why? to start with it is my birth month and who doesn’t love their birthday? This is a month for celebrating. I celebrate three different birthdays, my release of “Ink Stained Love” and of course Valentines Day although I am single and not looking for love. Think of the deals just after the day when sweets go on sale, a diabolical day for diabetic’s. The air goes from freezing to chilly and spring is just around the corner again giving me hope for warmer days.
