This is the last post for the regular college football season and I am looking forward to making the playoffs this year, locked in with a win today.

One day when we were not looking something happened to society. A virus was implemented into our world that brought us slowly to our knees. A new program to infect the outcome of college football as we knew it to be. No, it wasn’t the review of plays by the officials to verify the referees made the right call but instead a new way to ensure the SEC would not continue to own the championship every year. A new playoff system. The absurd process of letting a committee of 13 choose whoever they say are the best to play for a chance to win it all.

From the CFP website: “The selection committee ranks the teams based on the members’ evaluation of the teams’ performance on the field, using conference championships won, strength of schedule, head-to-head results, and comparison of results against common opponents to decide among teams that are comparable.”

This technology is useless in my opinion. Let them make the big show the old fashioned way – by beings winners, beat up, angry, and ready to prove they are the king of the hill by winning games, winning conference championships and beating the shit out of each other on the field, not by being a journalist favorite or being handed a first place slot all year because your in the Big10. (Yes I’m referring to those worthless buckeyes who haven’t shown us any reason they should be ranked 1st all year).

And with that said I will be barking loudly for Michigan today and of course hoping Alabama wins the Iron Bowl – ROLL TIDE BABY!!!
