I’m not feeling the daily prompt or any of the challenges I usually post on, so today do I change the prompt again?
Maybe just tell a story about the past? Hell, I could just pass today all together, naw I’m too awake for that silliness, hell I feel like a chicken running around with his head cut off.

I had made some great progress and was feeling excited to share my news when an ugly storm went through my head like a twister in the Oklahoma spring leaving altered thoughts strewn around with a dose of confusion. I have tried Chantix for the last six months wanting to quit the nicotine sticks I have had stuffed in my my lips for the last 56 years.

Two weeks in found me feeling good and not really “Jonesing” for the nicotine when out of the blue I wanted to have one. It tasted like shit and after a couple of drags, out it went.
The need for a cigarette wasn’t there anymore but the want remained. Slowly over the next few days the feeling became harder and harder to resist. Last night I broke down and bought a pack. My willpower received a giant boot in the butt. Some things are just not meant to be is the answer I’m sticking with on this dilemma.
And this whole marketing thing… I felt ecstatic when I started writing ‘Ink Stained Love” last April, of course that turned into a rollercoaster of love and hate as I learned how to write, format, arrange and edit the pages of the book. This also brought a great sense of relief after seeing how it looked when it hit the ARC stage. I promptly sent out hardback copies that were not completely finished and let myself down on that.

This hit the shelves in January, followed by “Silent Screams in April”. What should have been cause for tremendous celebration turned dark with my Amazon experience. I would like to remove it from their site and will probably do this in the near future.
As I am not some famous author, without pumping cash I don’t have into their already overloaded coiffures to move up their list I don’t see any use for them. I will have it and future projects on my site along with other common stores like B/N B.A.M. and such.
With two books out and my designs growing in popularity I’m should not be bitching right? I apologize friends.
So what’s the good news you ask?
Spring is in the air for starters. Yup, time to go out and bark at the moon or chase pretty girls down to receive some good belly rubs, yeah that sounds good.

And as you know, all good dawgs go to heaven, I’m going in a Pontiac.
